M.W.R.T. "Friends of the Montgomery Canal" "Aiming for the full Monty" E-
"FRIENDS OF THE MONTGOMERY CANAL" Was formed by the Montgomery Waterway Restoration Trust to provide information and involvement for people living in the canal corridor, the membership of this organisation is close to a hundred individual memberships representing some three hundred people. Even if you don't live in the area, you are welcome to join by contacting the membership secretary. (Details can be found below).

“FRIENDS” CANOES Do you fancy a canoe trip on the “Monty” ?? The Friends of The Montgomery Canal have Canadian Style Canoes, with equipment, available
for use on most of the 35 mile length of the canal. The more that boaters use the
canal the better it keeps the weeds down. The canoes are based at Pool Quay and Maesbury
and can be borrowed for a donation .Tel:-
